Close Encounters of the Third Kind!

Misery

Emily
Madness

"Happy birthday girls." The man on the screen said to the three sisters. Today they were fourteen, and the man was wise to stay away from the sister. The three had grown to deadly for every day human contact on an everyday schedule and were often contained in highly secured and guarded rooms. The close contact was bad enough for just the sisters and they often fought.
"Thank you father." The three sisters said in perfect unison to the man who had created them.
The red-head had cut off a large majority of her hair her eyes the same startling blue that made her known, and she choose to ignore the doctor already hating him.
That caught the scientist's eye and he watched her silently knowing she was a force to be reckoned with even with the viewing screen he didn't want to push her to test her powers. He didn't want to anger her.
Mischief looked at him feeling that she was being watched and managed a smile at him. He smiled back at her and the screen went black.Mischief knew as soon as that screen was black it was now or never for her. She slipped away to the other side of the room and her eye released a blue flash and less than a second later, Madness had attacked Misery wanting nothing more than to rip her throat out.
As soon as the guards entered to try and stop Madness and Misery, Mischief moved to make a quick get away. A guard in the hall yelled for her to stop and obediently she stopped and turned to face him, freedom the only thought running through her mind and she would kill in order to achieve that goal. She wanted out; away from the abuse, the senseless murders, the scientists. Her eyes flashed again and she turned away as the scientist put his gun to his head, claiming his own life.
Mischief began running again, to get away, to get out. She only managed to get herself lost in the dark labyrinth of that lab. She grew frightened and worried, and the more frightened she got, the more unpredictable and deadly she became in response. She froze some how knowing someone was nearby. They were looking for something.
"Adia? Any people left ALIVE around here?" Someone around the corner asked as quietly as possible for them.
Frightened and paranoid, Mischief hid in an unlocked room suddenly standing face to face with an intern for the lab. He pulled a knife to defend himself.
The door opened to reveal a woman and it gave Mischief the moments pause from the intern she needed. There was a bright blue flash that filled the room with light for a second and the man fell to his knees unable to breath. He lay on the ground in terrible pain until he finally died.
Mischief's attention snapped to the two women and she glared, "I am not going back!" She whispered hatefully. She flashed her eyes again but nothing happened to the first woman. This terrified the girl more than before. Without her abilities she was defenseless to any attack. She snapped her attention to the more petite of the two women as she heard a gun cocked and ready to be fired. Her eyes flashed as a defense and the gun wielding woman dropped her gun and screamed in pain falling to her knees.
The other woman looked at the scared and jumpy teen speaking to her surprisingly calm and kind hoping to distract her.
It worked and Mischief transferred her deadly gaze to the immune woman. "It's alright." The woman cooed. "Neither of us are here to hurt you."
By that point in time she was backing up hissing at her. But it was to late for her to get away. Neeja, the venerable female and Captain of the orbiting ship, had called up to Adia, the A.I.aboard her ship, and had Mischief trapped within a force-field like bubble.
That infuriated Mischief to no end. Freedom had been SO close.
The captain picked up her comm, "Adia? Beam up the girl and secure her."
As Mischief was beamed out, there was no way of her knowing a new life had started for her. A life without senseless murder or abuse. A life were she could be happy with the woman, Nicola, who had rescued her moving her within the safe walls of NavKor. But how long would the happiness last with the darkness hiding within Emily?
